Under dry conditions the tyre performs good but it needs some time to build up traction. It is quite resistant to dirt. Under wet and cold conditions the weak spot is that it can't build up traction. During my vacation (2 weeks of rain) especially in the first 10 minutes after a stop the tyre had the tendency to skid. None of the others ever had this. During a stop all other tyres dried up while mine didn't indicating that it didn't build up heat. I could actually feel the traction diminishing while the tyre was wearing down during the 2 weeks tour. Now that the tyre is almost worn down it breaks away on the smaller roundabouts and I actually had a power slide in 3rd gear while trying to get onto the highway. So if you are sure you never have to ride in the in cold and rain then you could give it a try. Other wise don't use it. I will never recommend this tyre. I've been riding this motorcycle for over a decade and i had the feeling it took all my experience and skill to get me safely through a corner when it rained. Some details: Tyre pressure was at 2 to 2.1 bars (2 is the minimum for my motorcycle) The group was a varied collection in skills and motorcycles so no sportive actions during rain just safe touring. It also skidded when I was following a Harley Davidson Road King. The one star for braking? I have a rear drum brake and it never locked the tyre.

All round good tyre, lasts well and grips well but not amazing in either way. They also seem to be very large compared to other tyres of the same size.
