The Dacia Sandero which has been manufactured since 2008 belongs to the compact class and is built in Brazil and Romania. Outside Europe it is known under other names,for example as the Renault Sandero or Renault Stepway. Many engine options with up to 105 bhp and three trims were available to start with. The second generation has been on the market for sometime now,it is based on the Renault Clio IV. Once again the Sandero is only available as a five door hatchback. In return power assisted steering and the electronic stability programme ESP are now standard. ABS and front air-bags also ensure safety - as do the good Dacia Sandero tyres.
