Nokian Line
The Nokian Line is a classic summer tyre with balanced characteristics, as verified by a 2014 ADAC test in which it received good scores for both its wet and dry road performances. The Nokian Line features double blocks in the outer shoulder area, which stabilise the tyre under extreme conditions as well as reducing the rolling resistance and saving money on fuel. Lane changes and cornering are accomplished safely thanks to a double-block support on the outer shoulder of the tyre.
Unique "cross-block sipes", which are located in the central ribs of the Nokian Line, also work to improve stability and exert a positive influence on the tyre's anti-hydroplaning performance by allowing water in the main grooves to be evacuated quickly. The main lateral grooves of the tyre contain smaller, built-in elliptical grooves that increase their water storage capacity, while the intelligent silica rubber compound enhances wet road grip. The tyre copes well and remains flexible in all temperatures, with its heat-resistant properties contributing to the Nokian Line's low rate of wear.
