A quick glance at the Cooper Discoverer STT is enough to reveal how it got its name: The coarse, all-terrain tread is asymmetrical and features scalloped shoulder lugs for maximum traction on soft ground - ideal for off-road adventures. The tyre also features tapered stone ejectors to prevent stones from lodging in the tread and impacting on the grip. Similarly, tears and other damage are protected against by three polyester carcass layers known as Cooper's "Armor-Tek3". The tyre also features a wide rim flange protector.
The rubber compound in the Discoverer STT consists of synthetic and natural rubber. As well as ensuring grip in all weather conditions, this helps to slow the rate of wear and give the tyre a long service life.
