My Suzuki Every Landy is an imported microbus version of the small commercial Carry 1.3 van, i.e. it is a high-sided vehicle with small and narrow wheels. When I bought the car, I was given the option to put on either the Uniroyal Rain Expert or a set of budget tyres. Expecting to drive long distances in all sorts of conditions, I went for the more expensive Uniroyals and had them for 4 years now, covering 30000 miles. Generally, I was very pleased with them. They always provided excellent grip and never let me down. They gave me confidence in the handling of my car. However, due to the different weight distribution (van-style vehicle), the Uniroyals always looked a bit soft. In order to get them inflated properly, I had to increase the pressure way beyond the recommended values and kept them at 36 PSI (stated maximum for the tyre is 40 PSI). They had to be checked and topped up frequently. Even by doing that, they wore out at the edges, suggesting that they were still under-inflated. I will not buy them again for my car, but will still recommend them to other drivers due to their reliability and longevity. I have no comparison for fuel consumption but heard there are better brands out there.
