  • Aquaplaning Safe driving even in the most challenging wet conditions
  • Cost-Saving Extended tyre life for a long journey
  • Handling Excellent control and steering response for maximum driving pleasure

Moreover, the innovative Aqua-Twist sipes channels water out of the tyre, leading to increased grip on wet and slippery roads.

Extended tyre life for a long journey. Enjoy a long journey with the new RainSport 5. A newly developed tread compound guarantees low abrasion and the stiffer shoulders ensure even treadwear. The overall optimized tread design provides even pressure distribution on the contact surface, which leads to a higher mileage an outstanding noise performance.

Excellent control and steering response for maximum driving pleasure. Enjoy every ride on a new level of distinctively sportiveness on dry roads. Through the stiffer base, the specially designed wide center ribs and its reinforced outside shoulder, this tyre truly delivers top cornering stability, great steering response and control for maximum driving pleasure – come rain or shine.

Driving within my own ability and the ability of the vehicle I choose to drive is what I do. The tyres on my car are part of the interface between driver and road. I prefer to drive with the tyres fully inflated in order to feel the feedback from the surface of the road through noise, suspension and steering, I ballance throttle and brake response with weather conditions, road conditions and temperature. Tyres with less grip just dictate that I should moderate speed and braking at an increased rate. Noisey tyres provide slightly better feedback than silent tyres. The road with current traffic congestion burden isnt the place for performance spirited driving but is the place where defensive driving must be used. I would describe my tyres as competent.

Great tyre, good in all conditions including heavy rain, cold, also summer conditions. Very good grip, good fuel economy and reasonable tyre wear. Survived a track day without visible wear. This tyre does it all. 235/35 19’s.

I have only ever once lost traction with these tyres in the wet and it was extremely wet and my foot was planted. The Quattro system helps on this of course but they do inspire confidence and rightly so.
