Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric

High performance vehicle owners still look for safety first when it comes to choosing a tyre, closely followed by performance and comfort. So the challenge to our engineers was to complement the predictive safety systems found on modern cars and develop a tyre that could control these powerful modern vehicles without loss of performance. The result was the Eagle F1 Asymmetric. Combining our revolutionary Active Cornergrip Technology and Racing Compound derivatives, the pressure is evenly distributed when cornering at high speeds, meaning more contact patch grips the road more of the time.

Benefits:

  • High performance, extreme safety. Resistance to aquaplaning, wet handling
  • Better tracking and grip in wet and dry conditions
  • Ensuring a smoother, quieter ride

These tyres replaced Pirelli P zero's so it was a hard act to follow but the only fault I noticed was on fast damp corners they do not hold on just as well

First thing to say is I have MO's fitted. Tried these on my Stage 3 TT RS - some commuting some shall we say v.spirited driving, grip is excellent, wet & dry but of course the awd helps , as good as others I've tried. what is surprising to me is the wear rate they are great, i'm not expecting zillions of miles but to compare I have a mondeo diesel with Michelins doing same commute and only about 20% tops better. Car's a bit noisy so can't comment about road noise but again no more/less noisy than other premiums.
