AllSeasonContact 2

You can’t control the weather. But you can be prepared.

The new Continental AllSeasonContact 2. German engineered safety for every season.
  • Experience increased efficiency due to our advanced material and tread technology.
  • Feel safe in any weather thanks to better handling and braking.
  • Enjoy our new adaptive tread design for a smooth and comfortable driving experience all year round.

When nothing lasts forever, this tire lasts for longer. The AllSeasonContact 2 is constructed from advanced materials with an improved pattern design that reduces friction. This not only leads to lower abrasion, giving your tire a longer life, but also reduced energy loss – key to minimizing fuel consumption and extending range.

When the seasons do what they want, this tire does what you want. You can’t control the weather. But you can be prepared. With its new and improved compound technology, the AllSeasonContact 2 stays consistent under any temperature, providing better grip whatever the season as well as ultimate driving confidence and safety.

When the weather changes, your driving experience stays smooth. Our adaptive tread design with its innovative c-block technology, gives the AllSeasonContact 2 a higher stiffness. Its open shoulders help transport water away from the tire. This means better handling in curves and a smoother ride on straight roads, for a more pleasurable driving experience in any weather.

*This is a comparative tread wear test of five all-season tires shown in the diagram on request of Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH and conducted by DEKRA Test Center SAS. Tested tire size: 205/55 R16 94V XL on VW Golf VIII 1.5 TSI (150 hp) with front wheel drive and performed in South of France from 23/11 to 20/12/2022. The projected tread wear life (mileage) is based on a linear extrapolation until a wear limit of 1,6 mm in center and 0 mm in shoulder after 15.450 driven test kilometers and considers the average tread wear life of the front tires. Details can be found in the extract of DEKRA report 22CPE11-198. Due to the large number of all-season tire models and the different quality segments, this is not a representative test result for the global tire market.

Good grip on wet and dry roads. Reasonable grip on snow and icy roads. Noisy on dry roads. Fuel consumption has increased. All in all decent tyres.

Incredibly capable tyre for all conditions, but my experience on the roads in West Yorkshire will probably dictate that I don't purchase these tyres again as they are too soft on the sidewall, they do need some sort of protective band. The roads a terrible around Haworth for potholes, and in this case I could not dodge one and it has ripped the sidewall and damaged the rim, rendering the tyre scrap.
