High on performance, low on noise. Designed with Bridgestone's latest simulation technology to give more powerful cars high-level balanced performance on frozen surfaces, wet and dry, all with an absolute minimum of noise. Better traction and handling on snow and wet with reduced risk of hydroplaning due to improved water evacuation of computer-simulated tread design and high silica content: lens shaped blocks with honeycomb sipes, special sipes on shoulder blocks.

  • Long wear life with resistance to irregular wear on shoulder and centre
  • Extremely quiet giving more ride comfort and less pass-by noise
  • Attractive sidewall design enhances appearance of car

Following two quite severe winters here in the UK I thought buying a 350Z would almost definitely warrant a full set of winters. Unfortunately, last winter was quite mild and wet with very little snow :( Almost not worth getting the Blizzaks! But that said, they performed brilliantly in the wet and the few light sprinklings of snow we had. Plus I know they outperform summer tires at anything below 7 degrees C. Generally the Blizzaks have served me well with loads of tread left for next winter (fingers crossed for snow this time!). I don't have experience to compare these to anything else but when I wanted to drive a muddy field - they worked well and when I want to send the car sideways from the lights - they worked well. The warm weather is here now and they’ll be changed next week as accelerating hard creates a very interesting squirmy, rubber chewing sound. Hmmm.... they’re definitely not 300bhp proof summer tires! I know there are more up to date versions but don't hesitate purchasing a set for next winter. ;)

After 80.000km all season 3 year (-10 to +40 deg!) still have good 3mm+. When new, not as good on dry, and average on wet (Sportiva SnowWin is way better in all but wear). With wear (of course) handling on dry is improving. It is wery wear-resistant tyre with still good grip on wet (maybe even better compared to new). Aquaplaning become problem of course at 3mm if too much water on highway. Driven mostly at 90-110km/h all period.
