The Peugeot 206 was replaced by the 207 in 2006. The Peugeot 206+ is a competitively priced economy model in the French manufacturer's subcompact class. The front is similar to the 207, while the rear end is quite different. The 206+ was available with three or five doors and with a choice of three different engines, including a diesel engine; further variations on the bodywork were available in South America, where the 207 is somewhat expensive and is available only as a CC and RC. In Europe, the 206+ is equipped as standard with fog lamps, electric windows, ABS and remote central locking. Airbags and other features can also be ordered within certain configurations. In 2012, a special edition of the model was issued, though it eventually disappeared from the market. Demand for Peugeot 206+ rims still exists today, since this subcompact model is still traded as a used car.
