Having overcome challenges such as the Great Depression, a takeover, and a 1949-liquidation, the company became the Carlisle Corporation - which grew increasingly successful and greatly diversified its activities over the following decades to include construction materials, brake and friction, communications, and aerospace products.

The company's tyre, wheel, and belt operations were merged in 2011 as Carlisle Transportation Products. This was acquired by American Industrial Partners in 2013, and became CPT Transportation Products. With seven manufacturing plants and 10 distribution centres in North America, Europe, and Asia, Carlisle-branded speciality tyres and wheels are today present on all of the world's major markets.
