The Renault Megane is a genuine long runner. It has been manufactures since 1995 and at the time replaced the R19. At first it was available as a five door fastback limousine and as a three door coupé. Very soon the Scenic an MPV, a notch-back limousine and a cabriolet version followed. The range of body versions was completed in 1999 by the estate. The first generation of the Renault Megane was already regarded as a very safe car and was awarded four of a possible five stars in the Euro NCAP-crashtest. There are four trims and four option packages. The second generation was started in 2002 and was built in France, Spain and Turkey. Compared to the predecessor the Megane II broke completely new ground with the design. Renault offered the compact class car with very sporty motorisations, for example a diesel engine with 173 bhp. The list of trims also grew and a coupé cabriolet was also available. In 2008 the third generation of the Renault Megane was presented. Because the French car continues to enjoy great popularity a lot of Renault Megane tyres are still rolling along our roads. Its standard equipment included many safety features but the right Renault Megane tyres also reduce the risk of accidents. They must be approved for your vehicle and have a sufficiently deep profile.
