For 20 years the Opel Vectra won new customers for the automotive concern in Rüsselsheim before it was withdrawn from the market in 2008 in favour of the Opel Insignia. The predecessor to the Vectra, which was even once used as a safety car in the Formula 1, was the Ascona. The first generation was available as a notch-back and as a fastback, and optionally with an innovative all-wheel drive - for example as Vectra Turbo 4x4 with 204 bhp. The Vectra B followed which was also available as an estate. With this model the name Caravan was reactivated and it belonged to the top 10 registrations for middle class cars in Germany. In 2002 the Vectra C came on the market. The fastback model was named GTS and was very popular. But all in all this generation was not very successful. However, because of the high number of vehicles sold Opel Vectra tyres are still needed which you will find in a great variety on mytyres.co.uk. Our Opel Vectra tyres are available at attractive prices.
