The
Mercedes C-Class is a model that was introduced in
1993 to replace the Mercedes 190. Seven years later the second generation followed and seven years after that the third generation. The current C-Class has been on sale since 2014 - whereby for the first time on a limousine the Mercedes star has been integrated into the radiator grill, however, only on the Avantgarde model. Other than that the star is, as usual,on the bonnet. For a long time the C-Class was this car-manufacturer's smallest model before the A- and the B-Class came on the market. It is offered as a limousine, an estate and a coupé, at the moment a cabriolet is also available. The current generation has grown by almost 10 cm in all dimensions. In spite of this the vehicle is about 100 kg lighter because more aluminium has been used on the body. Anybody who wants to make a more exclusive C-Class from the standard model can choose between three trims, among them the sporty AMG Line with 18 inch aluminium wheels which are painted grey.
